Program overview
Wise currently uses 'Wise Partnerships Program' and 'Partnership program' terminology.
The reviewed Program-specific evidence does not establish a single legal entity that should be represented canonically as operator of the worldwide Partnership Program. Regional Wise legal entities or customer agreements must not be substituted for Program-specific contractual evidence.
Historical affiliate material establishes earlier operation of an affiliate program, but does not establish a canonical launch date for the present Wise Partnership Program.
Wise products and services are clearly described, but the reviewed current sources do not state a canonical program vertical. AffiliateAct does not construct one.
Product audiences and publisher eligibility / promotion geography are not equivalent to a canonical target-market field.
The existence of localized Wise pages does not establish the set of languages supported by the Partnership Program.
Publisher access
Wise states: 'You can promote Wise to people in any country.' This establishes promotion reach, conditioned on supported Wise services. It does not establish that publishers located in every country are eligible to join. Promotion geography ≠ publisher geographic eligibility.
Influencer-specific documentation requires Wise account verification for participation in the direct in-app experience, but this must not be generalized into a universal Partnership Program KYC requirement.
Wise mentions high-volume opportunities, including proposals involving more than 50 new paying customers per month, but this is not a general minimum traffic requirement for program admission.
Influencer content additionally follows an approval workflow, but that requirement remains bounded to the Influencer path.
Commissions
Wise states that partners earn commissions/rewards for users they refer. Higher commission opportunities are documented for high-value/business referrals.
No single current commission rate applies across all documented Wise partnership paths. A current Influencer-specific mechanism provides a £10 referral fee for a qualifying referred guest, but this is path-specific and must not become the universal Wise Partnership Program rate.
No synthetic commission range is constructed.
No current source reviewed establishes a universal recurring-commission model.
No universal Program-level commission cap or explicit absence of a cap is established.
Influencer documentation establishes qualifying transaction conditions for that specific path, but these must not be generalized at Program level.
Higher commissions for some referral profiles do not by themselves establish a canonical tier system.
Tracking
The historical Wise affiliate article describes a one-year cookie window. Current 2026 Program documentation reviewed here does not independently establish that one-year duration as the present universal Partnership Program rule. The historical value is not imported.
A tracking link is not evidence of cookie type.
No Program-specific current evidence reviewed establishes universal cross-device tracking.
No current Program-specific evidence reviewed establishes canonical SubID availability.
Partnerize's general capabilities are not inherited.
Wise tells comparison sites and publishers seeking real-time exchange rates and fees to contact Wise about its API. This does not establish an affiliate reporting/tracking API.
Tracking-link mechanism: Wise establishes unique tracking/referral links. SEO partners use Partnerize to access their links and performance data; other paths can access links through Wise/direct app flows. This fact must remain separate from cookie type, API, postback and other technical capabilities.
Attribution
The historical one-year cookie statement is not promoted to a current attribution-window fact.
No current reviewed source establishes a universal first-click, last-click or other canonical attribution model.
Payments
No universal current threshold is established.
The Influencer in-app referral mechanism provides payment to the Wise GBP account within five working days after a qualifying commission is claimed. Fixed-fee influencer content has a different payment process and timing. These must not be generalized to Website/SEO partners.
Wise's general Partnerships page states that commission can be withdrawn into a bank or Wise account.
Influencer referral earnings are documented in GBP under the current direct in-app mechanism, with conversion possibilities and regional limitations. This is not generalized to every Wise partner.
No universal hold period is established.
Promotional and channel restrictions
This establishes documented use, not unrestricted permission independent of other program rules.
Wise expressly states that website partners cannot advertise free-transfer coupons. This narrower rule is preserved here; it must not be converted into a broader claim that all coupon affiliates are prohibited.
No current Program-specific evidence reviewed establishes a canonical cashback rule.
No current Program-specific evidence reviewed establishes a canonical sub-affiliation rule.
No current Program-specific evidence reviewed establishes a canonical toolbar-extension rule.
Terms and restrictions
The Help Centre links to partner terms, but this audit does not substitute unrelated Wise customer agreements or product terms for a Program-specific partnership agreement.
No current Program-specific evidence reviewed establishes a canonical unilateral-change provision.
No sufficiently specific current public evidence reviewed establishes the canonical termination rule applicable across the Partnership Program.
Network / Platform Relationship
Wise explicitly states that its SEO partners use Partnerize to access tracking links and track performance. Wise also documents Partnerize in connection with influencer partnerships while simultaneously operating a direct in-app influencer referral experience. Partnerize therefore applies to documented parts of the Wise partnership architecture, but not every Wise partnership path may be represented as exclusively Partnerize-hosted. No Partnerize platform capability is inherited merely because this affiliation exists.
Important context
Material boundaries preserved from the canonical factual record.
Institutional boundaries
- Wise Partnership Program ≠ Partnerize generally. Partnerize is explicitly documented for SEO partners and in Wise's influencer architecture, but its entire platform feature set must not be inherited.
- Website/SEO Partnership ≠ Influencer Partnership ≠ Business/Commercial Partnership. All sit within Wise's current partnership architecture, but pathway-specific rules remain pathway-specific.
- Promotion geography ≠ publisher eligibility. Wise's statement that partners can promote Wise to people in any country does not prove worldwide publisher admission.
- Wise API ≠ affiliate API. The API referenced in the Guidelines concerns real-time rates/fees use cases; it does not establish an affiliate tracking/reporting API.
- Tracking link ≠ cookie type.
- Historical cookie duration ≠ current verified attribution window.
- Influencer CPA/payment terms ≠ universal Program commission/payment terms.
Partnership pathways
Wise currently presents a common Partnership Program while distinguishing several operational partnership paths: Website / SEO Partnerships, Influencer Partnerships, and Business / Commercial Partnerships. A rule documented for one path must not be generalized to all Wise partners unless Wise documentation establishes broader applicability.
Pathway-specific rules preserved
- Influencer £10 CPA remains path-specific; not promoted to universal Program rate.
- Influencer GBP/payment mechanics remain path-specific; not promoted to universal Program rules.
- Influencer account verification remains path-specific; not promoted to universal Program KYC.
- Website-partner coupon restriction is preserved as a narrower rule; not converted into a universal coupon-affiliate prohibition.
- SEO Partnerize implementation does not establish exclusive architecture for every Wise partnership path.
