Program overview
Current Affiliate Program Terms & Agreement is entered into between Namecheap, Inc. and the Affiliate and expressly governs participation in Namecheap's Affiliate Program.
Verified as a multi-product Program description. Not narrowed to a single product.
A canonical target market is NOT_ESTABLISHED by the approved primary sources.
Creative language must not be equated with publisher eligibility.
Publisher access
Membership is at Namecheap's discretion and may be reviewed or revoked as an ongoing obligation.
Not an unconditional worldwide eligibility statement.
No numerical minimum traffic requirement is established. Documented assessment may include organic search ranking, website traffic and/or industry reputation, but no numeric threshold is fixed.
Universal government-ID KYC is NOT_ESTABLISHED. Tax documentation may be requested through the selected platform; tax documentation must not be relabeled as KYC. Legal age required (Verified).
Commissions
General Program-level rule. Product-specific current documentation may establish bounded exceptions (FastVPN, RelateSocial, EasyWP).
Domains (registrations / transfers): 20%
Hosting Packages: 35%
SSL Certificates: 35%
Private Email: 20%
PremiumDNS: 20%
General qualification for those listed items: commission applies to the first order made by a new customer. Preserved individually. No synthetic range.
1-month plan: 100% on first purchase; 53% on next 6 renewals
1-year plan: 53%
Annual-plan commission applies to each new VPN sale and not renewal. Do not convert into "100% recurring" or "up to 100% recurring commission".
1-month plan: 50% on first renewal; 25% on next 11 renewals
1-year plan: 30%
Customer scope: documented for both new and existing customers.
Explicit product-specific exception to the general new-customer architecture. Must not be erased.
35% for the first 6 renewals under the applicable monthly structure.
Commission figures disclosed as current as of 2026-05-26.
Rates may change; new rates do not apply retroactively to historic transactions. Monthly-renewal commission is assigned manually within 30 days after the end of the month in which the renewal occurred. Commission across all plan types is valid only for sales made by new customers to Namecheap. EasyWP is a named product-specific affiliate structure inside the same Namecheap Affiliate Program.
Universal recurring commission is NOT_ESTABLISHED. Product-specific renewal economics exist for FastVPN, RelateSocial and EasyWP; they remain product-bounded.
Fixed universal validation period is NOT_ESTABLISHED. Valid-order / reversal exclusions apply.
Tracking
Cookie-based tracking is verified. Cookies must be enabled; cookies must not be cleared before purchase; the referral should use the same browser for account signup and purchase.
Same-browser continuity requirement must not be transformed into a cross-device capability.
Bounded form. No additional generic network technical capabilities (API, postback, S2S) are inherited.
Attribution
Preserved as documented. Not broadened into an unrestricted "last-click attribution" statement.
Payments
Platform-specific mechanics documented: Impact documents a minimum equivalent of USD 10; CJ minimums vary by currency and payment type. Do not synthesize these platform-specific values into a universal threshold.
Payout mechanics are platform-specific. No universal Namecheap schedule is established.
Platform-specific: Impact documents Electronic Funds Transfer, PayPal, ACH / Wire Transfer, Check; CJ documents Direct Deposit, Paper Check, Payoneer. No universal Namecheap payment-method list is established.
No universal payout-currency list. CJ minimums vary by functional currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, CNY).
Generic hold period is NOT_ESTABLISHED. Suspension-related withholding must not be transformed into a generic payment hold period.
Promotional and channel restrictions
Preserved according to the exact contractual restriction. Not rewritten as generic network policy.
Not separately established beyond the paid-search / unauthorized-traffic restriction in S1. Trademark / look-alike / domain restrictions are preserved in Important context.
Bounded promotional context; does not override acceptance criteria or legal obligations.
Does not negate the active-website acceptance criterion.
Coupon economic treatment preserved; not flattened into a boolean prohibited / authorized.
Preserved as economic treatment.
Unrestricted sub-affiliation is NOT_ESTABLISHED. Only the documented economic treatment is preserved.
Preserved according to the legal text, not normalized into a simple unrestricted / prohibited boolean.
Terms and restrictions
Not reduced to the less precise "Namecheap changes terms without notice".
Suspension-related withholding must not be transformed into a generic payment hold period. Pre- / post-termination commission distinction preserved.
Network / Platform Relationship
Current Impact relationship verified. Namecheap documents Impact as one of two current affiliate platforms. Governance is mixed: Namecheap defines advertiser-level program rules, acceptance, general referral conditions, product eligibility, referral period, overwrite behaviour, restrictions, suspension and termination; Impact provides the platform account, enrollment interface, reporting, affiliate-link / creative interfaces and platform-specific payment mechanics. affiliation_type is not established.
Current CJ relationship verified. Namecheap documents CJ as one of two current affiliate platforms. Governance is mixed with the same institutional division as Impact. affiliation_type is not established. Canonical Network slug: cj-affiliate.
Important context
Material boundaries preserved from the canonical factual record.
Institutional boundaries
- Current program count: ONE canonical Namecheap Affiliate Program. No separate canonical EasyWP Program. The public EasyWP "Affiliate Program" terminology is preserved in context while retaining ONE canonical Namecheap Program.
- Current affiliate platforms: Impact and CJ are both verified current. ShareASale current affiliation is NOT_ESTABLISHED.
- The former internal Namecheap Affiliate Program is historically verified and closed to new enrollment.
- Historical Impact migration material remains historical; it does not define the complete current 2026 platform architecture.
Product-specific economics
- Standard product-specific rates: Domains (registrations / transfers) 20%; Hosting Packages 35%; SSL Certificates 35%; Private Email 20%; PremiumDNS 20%. General qualification for these listed items: commission applies to the first order made by a new customer.
- FastVPN: 1-month plan = 100% on first purchase and 53% on next 6 renewals; 1-year plan = 53%. Annual-plan commission applies to each new VPN sale and not renewal.
- RelateSocial: 1-month plan = 50% on first renewal and 25% on next 11 renewals; 1-year plan = 30%. Commissions documented for both new and existing customers.
- EasyWP: 35% for the first 6 renewals under the applicable monthly structure; figures disclosed as current as of 2026-05-26; rates may change; new rates do not apply retroactively to historic transactions; monthly-renewal commission is assigned manually within 30 days after the end of the month in which the renewal occurred; commission across all plan types is valid only for sales made by new customers to Namecheap.
- No universal commission rate and no universal commission range are established.
Tracking and attribution
Cookie-based tracking is verified for a 30-day referral period. Cookies must be enabled and must not be cleared before purchase; the referral should use the same browser for account signup and purchase. Same-browser continuity must not be transformed into a cross-device capability. Attribution behaviour is source-coded overwrite / later-referral displacement during the referral period; it is not an unrestricted "last-click" rule.
Platform-specific payments
Payment options and minimums are determined by the selected affiliate platform. Impact documents a minimum equivalent of USD 10 with payment options including Electronic Funds Transfer, PayPal, ACH / Wire Transfer and Check. CJ documents Direct Deposit, Paper Check and Payoneer; minimums vary by currency and payment type. These values are platform-specific and must not be synthesized into a universal Namecheap threshold, method list or schedule.
Restrictions and self-referral
- Paid search advertising is identified among the examples of unauthorized traffic channels. The exact contractual restriction is preserved; it is not rewritten as generic network policy.
- Trademark / look-alike / domain restrictions and Namecheap-logo usage restrictions apply. Affiliate-provided Namecheap-logo banners are not freely permitted; affiliates may use banners provided through the affiliate account.
- Domain forwarding and related manipulative traffic practices are restricted or prohibited according to the Agreement.
- Toolbar / browser plug-ins / extensions / add-ons are referenced in the current legal agreement within the coupon / sales / discount / cashback / loyalty treatment; their exact treatment is preserved according to the legal text.
- Self-referral: the affiliate's own purchases are not commissionable; purchases by employees, agents, representatives or contractors are not commissionable; purchasing products on behalf of referred clients in order to obtain commission is not eligible.
- Valid-order requirements exclude reversed, charged-back, unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible orders. Refunded or cancelled transactions can result in commission removal.
Documentary anomaly — ShareASale
The current-accessible Affiliates Knowledgebase category introduction mentions Impact Radius, Commission Junction and ShareASale. The current operational corpus repeatedly and specifically identifies Impact and CJ as the two current platforms. No current ShareASale enrollment, operational instructions, payment mechanics, affiliate-ID mechanics or EasyWP enrollment were established. The anomaly is preserved; no ShareASale canonical affiliation is created.
Promotional contexts
Documented promotional contexts include website content, blog / electronic newsletter, social media, email, messaging, product reviews, comparisons, eBooks and other affiliate creatives. FTC disclosure is explicitly identified as a consideration. Application eligibility and post-acceptance promotional channels are separate factual questions; promotional contexts do not negate the active-website acceptance criterion.
EasyWP canonical boundary
Namecheap publicly uses dedicated Affiliate Program terminology for EasyWP and maintains a dedicated affiliate-facing page. EasyWP uses the same Namecheap Impact / CJ enrollment infrastructure. A separate contractual affiliate agreement, separate contractual operator and separate affiliate-platform infrastructure are not established. EasyWP remains a named product-specific affiliate structure inside the single canonical Namecheap Affiliate Program; it is neither a separate AffiliateAct canonical Program nor merely an undifferentiated offer.
